The NQCC Hackathon, HealthTech Cluster Huddle, and Quantum Hardware Course Highlights
Dear friends,
As we kick off our October newsletter, we couldn't be more thrilled to share the latest activities and initiatives from our company with you.
1. The NQCC Hackathon
We were humbled to have our use case on equivariant embeddings selected by the National Quantum Computing Centre (NQCC) for their 2023 hackathon, hosted by the University of Birmingham. Our team had a great time working with very talented young PhD researchers on our challenge. The hackathon project aligns perfectly with our ongoing collaboration with the NQCC, which is exploiting practical ways of unlocking the potential of near-term quantum computing capabilities.
2. HealthTech Cluster Huddle
Our co-founder, Bambordé Baldé, had the privilege of participating in an extraordinary networking event organized by the Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC). The event was thoughtfully curated to bring together academics and companies actively engaged in cutting-edge frontier technologies within our region. During this gathering, Bambordé had the opportunity to provide an overview of our ongoing endeavours in quantum computing and other emerging domains like privacy-enhancing technologies (PETs).
3. Quantum Hardware Course
Our eagerly awaited quantum hardware course is now officially underway! Bambordé Baldé and Carlos H. G. Bessa inaugurated the first live session, last Friday.
